Healthcare Summit edition
Care organisations getting the finance stack right are at Health Care Summit 22 September.
Getting the finance tech stack right for UK care organisations is our work. On our stand we are giving away one thing: a one-page note on what three of those organisations did, with the questions to ask any vendor about it, including us.

The questions in the room
Our clients are already living the answers.
The CFO stream asks: where does productivity come from?
At Agincare, from home managers owning occupancy.
Agincare is one of the UK’s largest family-owned care providers. Its home managers run occupancy, admissions, room moves and funding changes in a portal, and billing lands in the finance system: block contracts, multi-funder splits, local authority invoices in the layouts councils require. Finance and busy care home managers aligned.
In June 2026 supported living joined the same system: around 400 residents across around 80 locations. When Agincare acquires a home, its own finance team migrates it.
The refinancing panel asks: can you show us clean numbers?
One database, so the numbers are ready when the lender asks.
Every refinancing starts the same way: consolidated numbers by entity and by service, quickly. That is the case for a group finance core with as many UK subsidiaries as you want at no additional cost, consolidated in one database rather than stitched together, on a platform processing £30bn+/annum transactions in a typical year.
Brunelcare, a Bristol charity with 33 sites, 1,000 properties and more than 2,000 customers, has run care home income this way since 1 January 2024.
The CTO stream asks: how do you go digital without sprawl?
Unlimited portal users. Finance licences for finance people.
Digital estates fail on licence sprawl and integration surface. At Agincare, care home teams work in an unlimited-user portal while billing and finance run in the core system, so operational users never consume finance licences and there is one integration surface, not five.
The National Autistic Society, more than 3,000 employees, chose the same approach. 1,000 staff and nearly 200 budget approvers work with it. Ask them what persuaded them; we will set up the call.
The 13:35 session asks: how do you govern AI in finance?
Start with data worth trusting. The AI follows.
Our clients’ answer is sequencing: core system first, AI on top, in that order. When occupancy, funding and billing live in one clean structure, AI access can follow role-based permissions, every interaction is logged, and the choice of AI model stays with the client rather than the software vendor.
This page is a small demonstration of what that unlocks, which brings us to the next bit.
Every conversation we opened for this summit was assembled one per reader.

Every email we sent ahead of this summit was written for its reader. No template, no mail merge. Has AI assisted? Yes. But assisted a human being who is accountable, not replaced.
Now apply the same idea to care home billing, finance and CRM. A single system that brings a remote team together, from care home managers to finance. And AI being used to enhance and personalise but crucially from the one single source of truth.

One app, three components
Behind the answers above is the Cloud Doing Good care sector app: three components that usually live in three systems, wrapped into one.
Care billing
Multi-funder resident billing, block contracts, council-layout invoicing, occupancy managed by home teams in an unlimited-user portal.

Core finance
As many UK subsidiaries as you want at no additional cost, consolidated in one database, not stitched together. Budgets to bed level, audit-ready approvals, on a platform processing £30bn+/annum in a typical year.

Care CRM
Enquiry to admission on the same system as the billing it becomes. No re-keying between sales, occupancy and finance.

The part we play
The app is built, implemented and supported by Cloud Doing Good running on Oracle NetSuite’s global platform. And the experienced sector specialists to deal with your particular use cases. The same senior people run each project from procurement through go-live and stay for Hypercare. No handover to a customer success desk, and clients learn to migrate their own acquisitions.
